Madison Vaughn is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP's Kansas City office. She is a member of the Government practice areas and Sexual Misconduct & Human Trafficking interdisciplinary team.
Ms. Vaughn earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Vaughn served as the Public Relations Chair of the Women’s Law Association and as a Student Ambassador. She participated in the Inaugural Class of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office Practicum, where she experienced her very first court appearance. She further honed her advocacy skills by participating in various competitions, including Negotiation, Client Counseling, and Mediation. She also earned Pro Bono Certificates for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years for dedicating over twenty hours of community service work each year.
Ms. Vaughn is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, where she serves as Vice Chair for the Young Lawyer’s Section Membership/New Lawyer Committee, General Body Member of the Membership Committee, and is a graduate of the Bar Leadership Academy. Ms. Vaughn is also a member of the Association of Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City and Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, where she is a graduate of the Trial Academy.
