Overview

Marissa A. Dunn is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Atlanta office. She is a member of the Firm’s Government Law, Insurance Coverage & Extra-Contractual Liability, and Professional Liability/Errors & Omissions practice sections. She also actively contributes to the Accountants Liability and Real Estate Interdisciplinary Teams. With a strong foundation in litigation and advocacy, Ms. Dunn brings a dynamic approach to her practice, shaped by her experience in both civil and criminal law.

Ms. Dunn represents clients across a range of industries, including government entities, insurance carriers, and professionals facing liability claims. Her practice is distinguished by a meticulous approach to case strategy and a commitment to client advocacy. Prior to joining FMG, she served as Senior Staff Attorney for the Honorable Tangela M. Barrie in DeKalb County Superior Court, where she played a pivotal role in adjudicating high-profile matters such as murder trials, election litigation, multimillion-dollar civil disputes and complex family law cases.

She is a graduate of Berry College (magna cum laude) and earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law (cum laude), where she was a decorated member of the Moot Court team, winning multiple national awards in oral and written advocacy. Her dedication to the legal profession was recognized with induction into the Order of Barristers.
