Overview

Marissa Dunn is an Associate at Freeman, Mathis and Gary, LLP Atlanta office. Ms. Dunn is Gwinnett native. She attended Berry College (Rome, Georgia) and graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law (Tampa Bay, FL) in 2017.

While at Stetson, she was a fierce competitor on the Moot Court team, winning numerous first, second, and third place oral and written advocacy titles against 180 competing schools in the New York City Bar National Moot Court Competition. She was also involved in the Honors Program and volunteered as a child advocate for children in DFCS custody.  She also interned for Honorable Susan C. Bucklew (a federal judge) and with an Atlanta area prosecutor’s office, trying five criminal cases as lead prosecutor while a law student.  Upon graduation, Marissa was selected and inaugurated into the Order of Barristers, the top advocacy honor which is bestowed upon a limited selection of graduating law students and practicing lawyers who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.
