Nicholas Hubner is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Philadelphia office. He is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation/Directors & Officers and Tort & Catastrophic Loss practice sections. His interdisciplinary teams include Class Actions, Environmental, Media, Retail, Hospitality & Beverage, Transportation and he works directly with construction, snow removal, landscape contractors and property management professionals. Mr. Hubner has extensive experience handling all phases of civil litigation and represents both individual and corporate clients in plaintiff and defense roles, throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

Mr. Hubner is a member of the Philadelphia Rotary Club and a volunteer attorney with Philadelphia VIP. While in law school, he was elected 3rd Circuit Governor of the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association.

  • Herod’s Stone Design v. Mediterranean Shipping Co. S.A., 434 F. Supp. 3d 142 (S.D.N.Y. 2020), aff’d, 2021 WL 562344 (2d Cir. Feb. 16, 2021), successfully secured dismissal of carrier client at pleadings stage, and affirmance in appellate court, in complex maritime dispute involving $864,000 in alleged damage to an intermodal shipment of marble.
