Overview

Nicholas Mead is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Atlanta office. He is a member of the Commercial Litigation/Directors & Officers practice section and is actively involved in the Firm’s Real Estate interdisciplinary team.

Mr. Mead focuses his practice on commercial litigation, real estate disputes and corporate transactional matters. He represents entities in complex property-related conflicts involving both commercial and residential assets and regularly advises homeowners associations (HOAs) on governance, enforcement and dispute resolution.

Alongside his litigation practice, Mr. Mead provides comprehensive commercial counsel to clients across a range of industries. His experience includes drafting corporate bylaws, vendor agreements, service contracts, lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements and other commercial instruments. He also advises clients on entity formation, corporate governance and general business operations, offering pragmatic and strategic guidance tailored to each client’s unique objectives. Mr. Mead’s unique blend of commercial litigation and corporate counsel experience provides clients with key insights that can aid risk mitigation.



Mr. Mead received a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Christopher Newport University. While at Brooklyn Law School, he was an Articles Editor for the Journal of Corporate, Financial & Commercial Law and President of the Center for Urban Business and Entrepreneurship. Prior to law school, he worked in the United States Senate as a Media Relations Coordinator for the Senate Periodical Press Gallery.
