Patric Friend is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Dallas office. His practice areas include construction and design law and insurance coverage and extra-contractual liability. Prior to joining Freeman Mathis & Gary, Mr. Friend practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Dallas, guiding clients on both sides of the docket through all stages of the litigation lifecycle in contractual disputes, oil and gas litigation, and first-party coverage litigation.
Mr. Friend received his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he served as a case editor for the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources and Energy Journal, represented indigent criminal defendants in the OU Legal Clinic, and was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society.
He earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Arkansas, where he was a member of a national collegiate honor society focused on promoting educational excellence and community service.
