Peter Brown is a Senior Counsel in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Atlanta office. Mr. Brown is a trial attorney focusing his practice in the areas of premises liability, products liability, catastrophic injury/wrongful death, and professional negligence. Before joining the firm, Peter spent time on both sides of the aisle on personal injury litigation. He has handled all aspects of litigation, including successfully representing clients at workers’ compensation hearings and also jury trials, both in state and federal court. Peter has also defended local government entities and their employees including Georgia cities, counties and the State of Georgia in litigated matters. Peter has extensive experience working with law enforcement in personal injury and civil rights matters. He has conducted and participated in internal investigations of police departments in response to allegations of improper conduct and procedural violations. Peter is also certified in DUI field sobriety testing and detection.
