Ruth Osborne is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Orlando, Florida office. She has over 25 years of experience defending physicians, physician extenders, nurses, and hospitals in medical negligence claims. Ms. Osborne received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law in May 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida, graduating in 1994 with a major in legal studies and a minor in English.
Ms. Osborne is originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and emigrated to the United States in 1982. She has resided in the Orlando area since that time. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar, Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and Defense Research Institute. She has held an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell for over 15 years, reflecting the highest level of ethics, professionalism, and legal ability as judged by her peers in the legal community. In 2012, Ms. Osborne was named among the Top Women Lawyers by a national publication.
