Overview

Sarah Medina is an Associate in the Miami office of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP, where she is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation/D&O and Tort & Catastrophic Loss practice groups. She also plays an active role in the firm’s interdisciplinary Homeowners Associations (HOA) team. Sarah has substantial experience representing clients in complex civil litigation matters across a wide range of industries such as First-Party Property Insurance Litigation, Third-Party Insurance Litigation, HOA issues, Personal Injury Disputes, Defamation and Civil Rights/Constitutional Law regarding issues of deliberate indifference.

Her practice is grounded in rigorous legal analysis, strategic advocacy and commitment to client service. She has experience presenting before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and has trial experience, adding depth and courtroom credibility to her litigation work.

Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as 3L Vice President for the Dean’s Cup. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wake Forest University, with minors in Creative Writing and Journalism. While at Wake Forest, she was a student-athlete on both the women’s soccer and track & field teams.
