Sharon Rodriguez Hansrote is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Atlanta office. She is a member of the Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Government Law practice sections. After beginning her career in criminal litigation as an Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Solicitor General, Ms. Hansrote transitioned into civil defense, where she now focuses on premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and commercial trucking matters, bringing significant experience in civil defense to the FMG team.
Ms. Hansrote represents insurance carriers, retail chains, and government entities across the transportation and hospitality industries. She assists clients in navigating complex litigation involving premises liability and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on developing evidence-based defenses to resolve high-exposure claims efficiently.
Ms. Hansrote is an active member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association. A bilingual advocate, she utilizes her fluency in Spanish to assist a diverse range of clients and community members. She is admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia.
