Sophie Stevanovich is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Chicago office. She is a member of the Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Insurance Coverage practice sections and actively participates in the Products Liability interdisciplinary team. Her practice focuses on defending clients in high-stakes litigation involving personal injury, property damage and complex insurance disputes.
Sophie represents a diverse range of clients, including insurers, corporations, and public entities. She is known for her thorough case analysis and commitment to delivering strategic, client-centered solutions. Prior to joining FMG, she interned with the Marion County Public Defender Agency in Indianapolis, gaining valuable courtroom experience and insight into litigation from the defense perspective.
She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as a Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from American University, graduating magna cum laude.
