Stephanie Miller is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Atlanta office. She is part of the Firm’s Professional Liability/E&O and Tort & Catastrophic Loss practice sections and is also involved in the Accountants Liability, Lawyers Professional Liability and Medical Malpractice interdisciplinary teams. Stephanie has extensive experience guiding professionals – including attorneys, insurance brokers, realtors, engineers and other professionals – through malpractice claims. She also assists clients in products and premises liability disputes.
Stephanie has experience representing defendants in a wrongful death trial and a complex commercial litigation trial. Whether it is a trial, mediation, deposition or document review, Stephanie loves to find the needle in the haystack that defeats the opponent’s best argument. While in law school, she was selected for a spot in the mediation clinic, where she became a registered mediator. During her time at the Clinic, she mediated over 100 cases with approximately an 80% settlement rate. Stephanie interned for Judge Markle on The Georgia Court of Appeals, Judge Schwall with Fulton County Superior Court and practiced under the third-year practice act prosecuting cases with the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office.
She earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Highest Grade Designation (“CALI award”) in both Contracts and Products Liability. She received her B.S. from Loyola University Chicago, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
