Suzanne Crowley is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Chicago office. She handles general tort liability, construction and catastrophic loss litigation.
Prior to joining FMG, Ms. Crowley was an income partner at a mid-size civil litigation defense firm where she handled claims and litigation in Cook and its collar counties including products liability, premises liability, construction accidents, medical malpractice involving physicians, hospitals and physical therapists, schools and teachers, sports accidents, day care center negligence, municipal liability, civil rights violations, nursing home care, legal malpractice, real estate appraiser negligence, errors and omissions and subrogation. Her responsibilities included serving as first and second chair trial counsel; developing defense strategy; preparing trial materials including trial briefs, motions in limine and jury instructions; conducting investigations and managing discovery including preparation of written discovery responses, preparation and presentation of clients for deposition and trial testimony, and locating consultants and experts; drafting and arguing substantive and procedural motions in state and federal court; negotiating settlements during mediation and pre-trial conferences; and preparing responsive pleadings.
