Travis A. Edmands is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Orlando office and a lifelong resident of Orlando, Florida. Mr. Edmands attended Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a certificate in Emergency Management. It was through his course of study that Mr. Edmands found a passion for legal work and helping others. After attending Florida State University, Mr. Edmands went on to receive his Juris Doctor at Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida.

Mr. Edmands has primarily focused on the defense of healthcare providers including physicians, physician extenders, emergency medical service providers, nurses, and hospital staff, as well as outpatient surgery centers and hospitals in negligence and wrongful death actions. He also handles general negligence and premise liability claims. In addition, Mr. Edmands represents healthcare providers in Department of Health actions.
