Yinan Ma is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Philadelphia office. She is a member of the Labor & Employment Law and Tort & Catastrophic Loss national practice sections. Her practice focuses on defending claims involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment and unlawful termination. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has represented clients in both state and federal courts across those jurisdictions. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Ms. Ma represents employers across a range of industries and brings a practical, business-minded approach to litigation. Ms. Ma was selected to the 2025 Pennsylvania Rising Stars list. Before joining FMG, she handled employment discrimination matters, as well as corporate and commercial litigation. Ms. Ma has significant experience defending clients throughout all stages of litigation.
Ms. Ma earned her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as president of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. While in law school, Ms. Ma interned at AstraZeneca and Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. as in-house counsel. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston University, where she was named to the Dean’s List.
