Please join us on Tuesday, February 28th, for our “Harassment and Discrimination” webinar. This is the first installment of our three-part webinar series, “The Most Common Employment Lawsuits and How to Avoid Them.”
Our presenters will discuss Harassment and Discrimination claims under Title VII, the ADEA, the California Fair Employment & Housing Act and NJ LAD. They will address problems that commonly occur, best practices to minimize an employer’s risks, and litigation strategy and tactics.

|Jennifer L. Ward
Jennifer Ward is the Managing Partner of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey offices. She has substantial experience in the area of labor and employment law. Her litigation experience includes the defense of a variety of employment claims, including race, sex, national origin, disability discrimination, wage and hour, harassment, and retaliation claims. She has also defended cases involving wrongful discharge, breach of fiduciary duty, contract disputes, federal class action litigation, fair debt collections practices, Lanham Act litigation, derivative suits, shareholder demand letters, and fraudulent inducement.
|Julie A. Marquis
Julie Marquis is a Partner with the firm and practices in the San Francisco and Southern California offices of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. Her practice includes a wide range of employment, commercial litigation, directors and officers and professional liability litigation throughout California. Ms. Marquis has represented both large and small employers in the telecommunications, legal, medical, financial services, insurance, food service, recreation, retail, and automotive industries. She is panel counsel for many of the nation’s largest insurers.
|Christopher M. Curci
Christopher Curci is an Associate in the firm’s Philadelphia and New Jersey offices. He represents employers in all matters of Labor and Employment litigation including: discrimination, hostile work environment, and retaliation claims under Title VII, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination; Fair Labor Standards Act claims; Prevailing Wage claims; ERISA violations; violation and enforcement of non-compete agreements; and Unfair Labor Practice Charges before the NLRB. Mr. Curci regularly counsels clients on contract negotiations, compliance with state and federal employment laws, employee handbooks, and hiring and termination of employees.
