2018 is off to a fast start with plaintiffs firing off new employment lawsuits every day across the country.  Employers often are thrust into a defensive position in these employment disputes, whether because they are surprised by the type of claim asserted or the individual pursuing such a claim.  Either way, employers often feel behind the eight ball when dealing with an employment lawsuit.

Please join us for our Webinar as we review the EEOC’s recent enforcement activity, assess new claims trends by plaintiff’s lawyers (and government agencies) and offer tips for how employers can proactively prevent (or at least mitigate) employment disputes.  We will, for instance, discuss the following trends and issues:

  • Sexual orientation and gender identity claims under Title VII
  • Leaves of absence under the FMLA and ADA
  • Salary history ban laws
  • EEO-1 Wage Data Collection
  • Joint Employer Liability
  • Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

The Webinar will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.

As always, there is no charge for our Webinar. We hope to see you there!
