Danielle Rudkin is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Newark and New York offices. She is a member of the Firm’s Construction & Design Law, Labor & Employment Law, Insurance Coverage and Tort & Catastrophic Loss practice sections. Danielle is also actively involved in the Aviation, Retail, Hospitality & Beverage, and Transportation Interdisciplinary Teams.
Danielle’s practice includes a wide range of complex litigation matters, with a focus on tort litigation, construction accidents and defects, and employment claims. She has extensive experience defending owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in construction-related matters, particularly those involving alleged violations of New York Labor Law. Her tort litigation work includes defending insured clients in the aviation and transportation industries, as well as handling a variety of premises liability cases. Danielle’s employment experience includes representing employers in litigation, administrative claims (such as the EEOC) and providing day-to-day counseling regarding federal and state employment laws, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Danielle also regularly counsels employers regarding various aspects of employment law and works with employers in preparing personnel policies and procedures. In addition, Danielle dedicates a portion of her practice to insurance coverage matters, which includes providing coverage evaluations and opinions to insurers.
Danielle is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Districts of New York. She is a 2024 graduate of the FMG Trial Academy and a recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Danielle earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Intellectual Property Law Journal, and received her B.A. from Fordham University.
