Elizabeth F. Pace is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Atlanta office. She is a member of the Labor and Employment practice section, where she specializes in defending employers against claims of discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. These matters typically arise under statutes such as Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, and the FLSA, and she regularly represents clients before the EEOC and in federal court.
Before joining FMG, Ms. Pace worked at the Georgia Attorney General’s Office, drafting appellate briefs to the Georgia Supreme Court. She also gained experience at a labor law firm in California, handling employment matters involving first responders and unions. Her earlier legal experience includes clerking at a civil litigation defense firm, where she drafted discovery and pleadings and supported case management. Additionally, she worked with in-house legal counsel at a manufacturing plant on labor and employment matters during a significant union election process.
Ms. Pace earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she received a full-tuition merit scholarship and graduated cum laude. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
