Cara Rose is a Partner with Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP's Springfield office. She is a member of the Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Labor & Employment Law practice areas. Mrs. Rose focuses her practice on multi-party litigation and complex torts as well as against allegations of sexual misconduct and human trafficking. She is a recipient of the distinguished Lon O. Hocker award from the Missouri Bar Foundation, as well as being a multi-year recipient of the Powerlist - Business Defense Lawyers, Super Lawyers - Rising Star, Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America in the area of Personal Injury - Defense, and was voted Lawyer of the Year in 2023.
Mrs. Rose represents individuals and corporate clients across various industries, including pharmacies, nursing homes, and residential care facilities as well as treatment facilities. She represents employers, home owners' associations, builders and contractors, as well as educators when they find themselves facing litigation. She frequently advises on risk assessment and provides solutions to resolving complaints within litigation as well as often providing guidance through alternative dispute resolution.
Mrs. Rose is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. She is a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America. Mrs. Rose is a member of the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute. She has been elected into the American Board of Trial Advocates as well as the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel. Mrs. Rose is the only member of the FDCC who practices in southwest Missouri. She is the President of the Board of Directors for Sporting Springfield.
