Overview

Dane Willis is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary's Sacramento office where he represents employers in a diverse range of employment-related disputes, including class actions, wage and hour disputes, as well as disputes alleging discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.

With a broad range experience in civil litigation, Dane has successfully represented employers in class actions and single-plaintiff matters, automotive manufacturers in product liability cases, healthcare payors in complex contracted and non-contracted provider disputes, complex health insurance fraud matters, as well as regulatory actions by state agencies.

Dane has obtained successful outcomes in nearly all aspects of civil litigation, from discovery to motion practice, mediation, trial, and arbitration. He has honed his legal skills and knowledge through diverse experiences in corporate, employment, manufacturer defense, and health care contexts at local, national and global law firms, as well as clerking in criminal law at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. These experiences have not only enabled him to develop rounded real-world legal counseling and litigation skills in employment, manufacturer, health care, and regulatory contexts, but also cultivate critical data analytics skills necessary for effectively managing data-intensive and volume litigation.
