Elizabeth Fellmeth is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Los Angeles and Orange County offices. She serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Financial Services and Banking national practice section, and she is the Office Co-Chair of the Orange County office. Ms. Fellmeth focuses her practice on defending financial institutions and professionals. She specializes in representing securities broker dealers, registered investment advisor firms, registered representatives, investment advisors, insurance agents and brokers, and accountants/CPAs in an array of civil and regulatory disputes. Ms. Fellmeth has handled hundreds of matters before federal, state, and probate courts, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”), the Certified Financial Planners Board, and California’s Board of Accountancy and Department of Insurance.
As part of her commercial litigation practice, Ms. Fellmeth focuses on privacy and data protection, trademark infringement, intellectual property, consumer protection, business disputes, and class action defense. She is experienced in defending corporations, limited liability companies, officers and directors, real estate professionals, and homeowner’s associations in complex litigation.
