Eric Mueller is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary's Atlanta office and is Vice-Chair of the firm's Fair Housing national practice team. Mr. Mueller handles a variety of employment- and business-related matters. He routinely appears before state and federal courts, and has experience in all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial to appeal. Eric also represents clients in federal, state and local agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the National Labor Relations Board.
In addition, Eric provides counseling on various employment matters to clients including management, human resources and in-house counsel. These involve issues with restrictive covenants, employee discipline, requests for accommodation and internal complaints. Eric also has significant experience preparing employment policies and handbooks, as well as conducting internal investigations of complaints of discrimination, harassment and retaliation, among other violations.
