Josh Ferguson is a Partner and Office Co-Chair of the firm's Philadelphia office, Practice Group Leader of the firm's Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Trial Advocacy/Trial On-Call national practice sections, Co-Chair of the firm's Class Actions and Mass Tort Litigation practice teams, and Vice-Chair of the firm's Products Liability and Retail, Hospitality & Beverage practice teams. He is a highly experienced attorney with an array of experience in high exposure tort, construction, environmental and commercial dispute cases.
Mr. Ferguson is an experienced trial lawyer, including in the defense of complex, multiparty litigation, class actions and federal court MultiDistrict Litigation (MDL). Mr. Ferguson is a leader of the firm’s PFAS Litigation Team and the Class Action Team and a frequent lecturer on the potential health effects, hazards and litigation alleged to result from Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) exposure as well as other environmental litigation. He is a lead counsel for the firm’s client in the MDL alleging PFAS environmental and injury claims arising from fire-fighting equipment and fire-suppressing foam pending in Charleston, South Carolina federal court, known as the Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) MDL.
Mr. Ferguson’s Tort and Catastrophic Loss practice includes defense of premises liability, transportation, product liability, toxic and mass tort claims.
