Focusing on PFAS, Pharma, Medical Litigation and Toxic Substances. Our attorneys represent insureds and self-insured companies in all aspects of complex litigation defense arising from toxin exposure and release, medical products, life sciences products liability, and catastrophic environmental or chemical exposures. Our PFAS Coverage attorneys advise insurers about claims, coverage and exposure from the growing PFAS litigation filed throughout the nation and other toxic mass torts, as well as litigate coverage and declaratory judgment cases throughout the United States.

Our attorneys represent insureds and self-insured companies in all aspects of complex litigation defense arising from toxin exposure and release, medical products, life sciences products liability, and catastrophic environmental or chemical exposures. We collaborate with industry experts, chemists, immunologists, industrial hygienists, and other leading professionals to provide an effective, vigorous defense to claims involving personal injury, property damage, and medical monitoring.
Our insurance coverage lawyers routinely monitor, litigate coverage and advise domestic and global insurance markets on toxic exposures, mass torts and PFAS litigation coverage issues arising from property contamination, PFAS-containing products, consumer products and packaging, and issues arising from “occurrence”-based long-tail claims implicating multiple policy years.
We have experience and active cases in all phases of mass tort litigation, most recently in the PFAS litigation involving Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), described as “forever chemicals” that are alleged to be harmful to humans and the environment. PFAS and PFOAs are found in many different consumer, commercial, and industrial products and have been found in public drinking water, leading to large scale litigation, including the so-called Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) Multidistrict Litigation, MDL No. 2873, pending in Charleston, S.C., federal court.
FMG represents insurers and entities involved in production or distribution of health care products, including medical instruments and devices, pharmaceutical products, and hospital equipment. We have extensive experience litigating and trying cases, and brokering pre-suit agreements through ADR, for manufacturers of consumer products, industrial machinery, construction equipment and scaffolding, and processed food products. Our team can handle and resolve complex commercial and consumer class actions, including trial of class certification test cases, settlement, and notice requirements.
Our national network of experienced trial and insurance coverage attorneys bring a substantial array of legal experience and scientific acumen to address an ever-changing myriad of environmental, toxic, pharma or mass tort legal challenges. Coupled with a highly skilled in-house eDiscovery team, utilizing cutting-edge resources and AI technology, FMG is able to address a wide range of complex litigation issues across more than 35 states.
