Martin Schexnayder is a Partner and Office Chair of Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Houston office. Mr. Schexnayder is an AV-Rated® attorney with more than 25 years’ litigation experience. Mr. Schexnayder has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. He has extensive experience in professional liability matters (defending attorneys, accountants, insurance agents/brokers, real estate agents, architects & engineers and others), as well as representing securities brokers in FINRA arbitrations. He also has experience representing insurance companies in bad faith and coverage matters and defending businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters. He has also defended attorneys in State Bar grievance proceedings and accounting firms in regulatory and disciplinary matters.
Mr. Schexnayder has experience in data privacy litigation arising from data security incidents, including data breach class actions and commercial disputes involving managed service providers. He also defends Web businesses who are sued for using data-tracking tools on their Web sites, such as Meta Pixel.
