Martin Schexnayder is a Partner and Office Chair of Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Houston office. Mr. Schexnayder has over 35 years of experience litigating cases. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and AV-Rated® attorney who has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. He has extensive experience in professional liability matters (defending attorneys, accountants, insurance agents/brokers, real estate agents, architects & engineers and others), as well as representing securities brokers in FINRA arbitrations. He also has experience representing insurance companies in bad faith and coverage matters and defending businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters. Marty has experience defending HOAs in D&O claims and has obtained dismissals of HOA Board members under the Texas Anti-SLAPP statute. He has also defended attorneys in State Bar grievance proceedings and accounting firms in regulatory and disciplinary matters.
