Michael Tran is an Associate in the San Francisco–Marin County office of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. He is a member of the Labor & Employment, Tort & Catastrophic Loss, and Construction & Design practice areas.
As part of his Employment Law practice, he advises employers on a broad range of employment law matters, including workplace policies, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution, and defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations.
In addition to his employment practice, Mr. Tran is involved in matters including the defense of claims involving tort and catastrophic loss, construction defect, and commercial disputes. He has experience supporting cases involving transportation-related incidents, and construction-related claims, including matters involving general contractors and subcontractors. His work includes assisting with litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, and case resolution in disputes that often involve significant property damage or allegations of serious injury.
Mr. Tran is a member of the California State Bar and is actively involved in the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California (VABANC). Mr. Tran earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
