Overview

Robert Scavone Jr. is Senior Counsel at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Fort Lauderdale office. He is a member of the Appellate Advocacy practice section and focuses his practice on appeals and trial support. Robert began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Barbara Lagoa on Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining FMG, he gained appellate experience at a boutique appellate firm in Florida and tried numerous cases to verdict as an assistant state attorney in Palm Beach County. Robert has taught Florida Constitutional Law and Professional Responsibility at Florida International University College of Law.
