Veronica Pakit is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Newark office. She is part of the Professional Liability/E&O, Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Labor & Employment Law practice sections.

Veronica represents a diverse range of clients in both state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York. Her practice includes matters involving catastrophic injury, environmental remediation, product liability, complex civil litigation, commercial disputes and employment and labor law. Veronica earned her way through law school as a police dispatcher and emergency medical technician for over a decade, gaining valuable medical and investigative skills that she utilizes for her catastrophic injury/medical malpractice clients.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School. While in law school, Veronica participated in the International Chamber of Commerce Commercial Law Mediation Competition, affording her the opportunity to hone her written and oral advocacy skills. Additionally, Veronica was elected student leader for the Rutgers Pro Bono Child Support Program and the LGBTQ+ Pro Bono program. She earned a B.S. from Rutgers University, Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning & Public Policy
