Trial advocacy requires a special and unique skillset that few litigation attorneys develop. FMG has a deep bench of skilled trial attorneys who can try any civil jury trial anywhere at any time. FMG’s trial attorneys collectively have tried hundreds of cases to verdict. FMG’s trial attorneys have the acumen and depth of resources to present cases to a jury in every area of law. The On-Call Trial Team is frequently hired to take cases over from other law firms when trial appears to be imminent, when a case is being retried, or when the possibility of trial becomes a reality. It is never too late to hire us!
FMG attorney Sharon Collier parachuted into this case after the close of discovery and shortly before trial. The case involved an admitted liability and causation rear-end accident. The plaintiffs claimed significant orthopedic injuries, including a past thoracic spine discectomy and fusion, as well as future surgeries and extensive future treatment. The only question the jury was tasked to decide was how much to award the two plaintiffs. Although the plaintiffs asked the jury to award a total of $15,084,523, after trial, the jury awarded only a fraction of that amount.
