Casey Stansbury, Curt Graham and Austin Anderson tried a civil case before a 12-person jury in Laurel Circuit Court (Kentucky). The case arose from an automobile accident on I-75 in Laurel County. We defended Laurel County Sheriff John Root on a vicarious liability claim. The Plaintiff alleged that a Laurel County Sheriff’s Deputy negligently performed a U-Turn on the highway and caused him to lose control of his vehicle. The jury returned a unanimous verdict in favor of our client in less than an hour. We are pleased with this result and would like to thank the Trial Committee for their assistance in getting us prepared for trial.

William Baldwin v. Laurel County Sheriff John Root, and the jurisdiction is Laurel Circuit Court (state court – KY)
