Justin Boron, Bob Chadwick, Amy Bender and Ben Mathis led a team representing a Fortune 500 farm equipment manufacturer in a winning campaign in an NLRB representation election in Illinois. FMG’s client led the winning effort that defeated the union’s attempt to represent employees in a manufacturing facility in Illinois after a yearlong organizational effort.  The employees ultimately voted by a 3-1 margin against the union. Before the election was ordered in 2023, FMG twice obtained dismissal of the petitions for election and represented the employer in  two representation hearings at the facility, which employs over 400 people. During the litigation over the bargaining unit, FMG’s client also prevailed in two unfair labor practice charges.
