Tara A. Sheldon is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP's Hartford office. She has a diverse civil and commercial litigation practice representing clients in a variety of industries in state and federal courts in Connecticut and across the Northeast. She counsels and defends clients in areas such as premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, toxic torts, mass tort, and complex commercial litigation. She also defends employers in employment claims before Connecticut state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies such as the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights (CHRO). When disputes arise, she assesses a client’s exposure and works closely with them to define strategic objectives and develop efficient, tailored, and cost-effective solutions.
