Jeffrey E. Garcia is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s El Segundo office. His practice focuses on tort and catastrophic loss and employment law. This includes claims involving premises liability, transportation, construction accidents, product liability, and toxic tort. Mr. Garcia has significant experience in personal injury matters involving serious orthopedic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and complex liability scenarios. His employment practice involves defending against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination. Mr. Garcia also has experience representing both employers and employees in lawsuits related to unpaid overtime and minimum wages, misclassifications, meal and rest break violations, and other wage and hour issues.
Mr. Garcia earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. During law school he was a member of the Student Bar Association and Latino Law Student Association. He completed a Master of Arts Degree in Politics, Economics, and Business from the Claremont Graduate University. In undergrad, he studied philosophy at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling abroad, live music, and barbecuing.
