Chloe Zidian is a Partner in the Pittsburgh office of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is Vice-Chair of the firm's Midwest Employment practice team. Ms. Zidian is an experienced litigator who defends employers in state and federal court actions as well as administrative proceedings arising out of all aspects of the employment relationship. She also counsels clients to avoid disputes where advantageous. Ms. Zidian’s litigation practice includes representing employers in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, employment at-will, restrictive covenants, wrongful discharge, protected leaves of absence, breach of contract, wage and hour violations, defamation, and fraud before various judicial and administrative tribunals, including federal and state courts throughout Pennsylvania and government agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the City of Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations. She also has experience representing international transportation clients and food service providers in a range employment-related and general liability matters.
Ms. Zidian earned her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, where she argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in connection with her participation in the Federal Litigation Clinic. Ms. Zidian also competed on the Appellate Moot Court Board, on which she served as Vice President, and was an active member of the Student Bar Association.
Ms. Zidian is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Allegheny County Bar Associations.
