Bryce Newell is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP’s Newark and New York City offices. Mr. Newell focuses his practice on complex litigation. He has skillfully and zealously litigated complex, commercial cases in New York and New Jersey state and federal courts. His practice involves a wide range of matters, including construction disputes; design and defect claims; business tort disputes; breach of contract actions; mortgage, mortgage–backed securities, and real estate related litigation; intellectual property infringement; insurance coverage; product liability; professional liability; and appeals.
Mr. Newell also has extensive experience representing both commercial landlords and commercial tenants in landlord-tenant disputes. He has handled disputes between partners of joint ventures regarding their "business divorce." Mr. Newell also represents clients in individual and class action claims based on alleged violations of federal and state statutory regulations such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the New York General Business Law (NYGBL) and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (NJCFA).
