Andrew Iles is a Senior Counsel in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s Orange County office. Mr. Iles is a member of the firm’s Financial Services and Tort and Catastrophic Loss practice groups. Mr. Iles has extensive experience representing a myriad of business entities in commercial disputes as well as general liability matters.
In his work for the Financial Services practice group, Mr. Iles brings to bear years of financial industry experience in representing securities broker dealers, registered representatives, investment representatives and insurance agents in a variety of civil disputes and regulatory matters. Mr. Iles has years of first-hand experience as a former registered representative with one of the world’s largest financial institutions, and understands the intricacies of the advisor-client relationship in addition to the applicable regulations. Additionally, Mr. Iles unique experience as a former in-house attorney for another reputable investment firm provides him with a unique insight into compliance and regulatory issues faced by financial institutions on a daily basis.
In Mr. Iles work defending entities in tort matters, Mr. Iles has successfully defended entities ranging from government entities, construction companies, retail establishments, property managers, and auto-rental companies. Mr. Iles employs a client first approach to counsel clients regarding litigation strategy and potential liability. Mr. Iles’ devises effective litigation strategies in consideration of his clients’ ultimate goals to timely resolve matters through dispositive motions, successful resolution negotiations, and leads matters through resolution at trial.
Mr. Iles is fluent in Spanish. In his free time Mr. Iles enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and practicing martial arts.
