Overview

Christopher J. Fleissner is an Associate in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s El Segundo office. His practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including professional liability, torts and labor and employment matters.

Before joining FMG, Mr. Fleissner represented clients in state and federal court litigation. He also served as an Appellate Law Clerk to Judge Anthony J. Navarro of the Colorado Court of Appeals, where he drafted nearly 30 judicial opinions in both criminal and civil matters.

Mr. Fleissner earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, where he received a Certificate in Public Interest Law and an Excellence in Oral Advocacy Award. He served as a primary editor of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review and interned with Legal Aid South Africa and the Organized Crime and Gang Section of the U.S. Department of Justice. As a student attorney in the university’s Criminal Justice Clinic, he supported the Missouri State Public Defender by assisting with preliminary hearings, drafting motions and preparing for trial. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
