Overview

Elizabeth Mu is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Los Angeles - LAX office. Ms. Mu is a member of the Labor & Employment Law practice section and is actively involved in the Firm’s Wage and Hour interdisciplinary team.

Elizabeth’s employment litigation practice includes defending business and management in employment and labor disputes, including claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract and fraud. She also routinely advises and represents clients in representative PAGA cases involving wage-and-hour allegations, including failure to pay regular and overtime wages, meal period and rest break violations, and misclassification issues. 

She has presented various webinars covering the topic of defending disability discrimination claims. Ms. Mu was a graduate of FMG’s Trial Academy. Ms. Mu earned her J.D. from University of San Diego, where she was the Research Editor of the San Diego Law Review and served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Andrew G. Schopler and Honorable Margaret M. Mann. She received her B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Miami.
