Justin Boron is a Partner in the firm’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and New York City offices. He is an accomplished attorney in the areas of consumer protection, commercial litigation, and labor and employment law.
Mr. Boron is the Chair of the firm’s Privacy and Data Breach Litigation team. As part of his data privacy practice, he defends class actions and individual actions arising from data security breaches, data tracking software on browsers, FinTech matters, name and likeness use on search and background services, background checks, and telemarketing. Mr. Boron also handles commercial litigation matters involving tech companies, such as Managed Service providers and other IT security related vendors.
Mr. Boron also is the Co-Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation/Directors & Officers national practice section. In his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Boron has experience in restrictive covenant and trade secret cases, including on the defense and plaintiff side, shareholder and derivative suits, and breach of contract claims arising from information technology services, manufacturing, and supplier agreements. Mr. Boron also defends companies in qui tam, False Claims Act claims by relators and the government and in Medicaid and health insurance reimbursement claims.
Mr. Boron’s labor and employment practice encompasses employment discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour claims, FMLA and ADA claims, ERISA denial of benefits claims, unfair labor practice claims and other NLRB disputes. He regularly appears before the EEOC and related federal and state agencies, including the DOL and NLRB and he also represents employers before federal and state courts throughout the country in a myriad of employment disputes. In addition, he advises employers on handbook policies, FLSA classifications, leave and accommodation requests.
