Overview

Lynn Hollenbeck is a Partner in Freeman Mathis & Gary’s San Rafael, California office.  Ms. Hollenbeck’s practice focuses on employment litigation as well as advice and counsel.  Ms. Hollenbeck has the advantage of experience from both the plaintiff and the defense viewpoint spanning over twenty-five years of practice.  She has been lauded by her clients as making them feel that she is always in their corner.  Ms. Hollenbeck’s area of practice in the employment area includes sexual harassment and employment discrimination on the basis of gender, age, pregnancy and other disabilities as well as issues including retaliation, wage and hour, breach of contract, solicitation and non-competition issues.  On the defense side, she has counselled on issues including the prevention and resolution of employee complaints and termination issues.  She also advises regarding best practices, policies and procedures, employment handbooks and internal investigations. She also has extensive experience in complex litigation, premises liability and fraudulent transfer.  Ms. Hollenbeck’s practice has included matters in the federal and state courts in California and New York and also administrative agencies such as the Labor Commission. She received her certification in workplace investigation from the Association of Workplace Investigators and writes and edits for that organization.  

She received a B.A. from Dartmouth College and her law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the International Law Journal and an assistant teacher of Legal Writing.
