Daniel Parker Jett is a Partner in the Firm’s Los Angeles office defending management interests in labor and employment litigation. Mr. Jett is also Vice-Chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law national practice section, Chair of the firm’s Wage and Hour practice team, Co-Chair of the firm’s Western Employment team, and Co-Chair of the firm’s ERISA practice team. Mr. Jett has worked exclusively in labor and employment litigation for more than 20 years, handling disputes involving allegations of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, wage and hour issues, and more, from outset through trial. Mr. Jett has represented employers as large as Fortune 50 companies and as small as micro-enterprises with a dozen employees.
Mr. Jett also regularly advises and counsels his management clients regarding best practices for compliance with California’s myriad labor regulations. Mr. Jett’s experience includes advising on the interactive process between employers and their employees experiencing disabilities, preparing comprehensive policy handbooks, precision-drafted policies crafted to the specific needs of the client, and workplace investigations relating to allegations of misconduct or harassment.
Mr. Jett also has substantial experience in litigation involving employee benefits plans under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), including disputes over benefits and breach of fiduciary duty.
