Overview

Jennifer Markowski is a Partner in the firm's Boston and Providence offices and is Chair of the firm's Labor and Employment Law national practice section. She is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried cases to verdict throughout New England. Ms. Markowski’s practice focuses on the defense of employment and professional liability claims.

Ms. Markowski regularly represents her labor and employment clients in arbitration and mediation, and she handles matters before federal and state courts, and also before administrative agencies including Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD). Her labor and employment practice fully encompasses the issues that employers may face in managing and interacting with employees, including employment discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour claims, FMLA and ADA claims, and disputes surrounding enforcement and defense of non-compete, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements. She also advises clients on various employment decisions and provides training and counseling on employment issues.
