Testing the Limits of Speech, Privacy, and Social Media in the Workplace

This webinar will explore the limits of speech, privacy, and social media in the workplace. It is designed to address the common issues that employees and employers face when conducting themselves in the workplace and in social interactions with co-workers. When can an employee’s actions or words form a legitimate basis for termination and when does a termination decision provide the employee with a cause of action? When does an employee have a right to privacy and when does an employer have the right to make employment decisions based on “off duty” actions or statements? These are some of the issues we will explore along with recent trends in this area and recommendations for employer policies. CE applied for in CA, FL, GA, NJ, PA, TX.
