FMG Announces New Partners Allison Hyatt, Gretchen Carner, and Peter Catalanotti
 
 

Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three partners who have joined us in our California offices.

Allison Hyatt is a partner in the firm's Sacramento office and practices throughout California handling a wide range of employment, professional liability, title insurance, special education, and commercial litigation matters. Ms. Hyatt has successfully litigated countless cases in California's federal and state courts at both the trial court and appellate level. Her clients include large and small businesses, lenders, non-profit organizations, individuals and government entities. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Hyatt is a skilled coverage attorney and is often called upon to advise insurers in cases involving complicated high-stakes coverage issues.

Gretchen Carner is a partner in the firm's Hermosa Beach office. She has practiced in the areas of complex civil litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith law since 1987. Her insurance expertise includes litigation and coverage advice in the areas of general liability, professional liability, property and casualty, D&O, E&O, workers' compensation, and employer's liability coverage. She has also handled significant litigation defending attorneys and insurance brokers against professional liability claims, representing employers in employment related disputes, and representing HOA’s and their directors and officers in various disputes.

 

Peter Catalanotti is a partner in the firm's San Francisco office. He is Vice-Chair of the firm’s Professional Liability practice group. Mr. Catalanotti defends licensed California professionals in civil lawsuits and administrative claims, including real estate brokers, appraisers, lawyers, insurance agents, and miscellaneous professional and quasi-professionals (health care workers). He also gives risk management lectures. He represents employers in discrimination, wage, and related class action lawsuits.
